It was nice not getting up at 4 AM today. I did not have to be in Vegas for work today.
My three days off from work, will be interupted by having to go in for a couple hours.
I have to take a computer based test at work, I must pass in order for them to pay for the national certification test that I will be taking in March. When all this is done and I pass the final test, I will have a different professional license from the state of Nevada and I will get a $1 an hour raise because I have that.
I have worked my ass off this week, and started to get a little cranky. I just expect everyone to do their job, is that too much to ask??
Oh yeah, the place I work at is in a little town....we are in the same district as the same type of places in Las Vegas...there is one difference...our sales in the much smaller town are the highest month to date. More specificly, my department ended the month of January with $3000 more in sales then last Jan...while the same depts in Las Vegas, were down 7%.... Last year the numbers were extra high, due to the buy out of another chain and all that instant new business. We still beat those numbers.
Not too many people can say sales are up from a year ago.
So I guess I have job security for another week.
