This was the week the House was to take up the 9 remaining fiscal appropriations bills that congress has yet to enact. The Republican Leadership is calling on Pelosi and Hoyer to post the text of the omnibus spending bill and explanatory statement on line in due time before it gets voted on. CFA has been pushing for at lest a 10 day lead so voters are able to view both spending packages side by side. Will this happen or is it one more “No Transparency” Obamadamation?

Omnibus spending bill not likely until after recess

February 3, 2009 - House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said Tuesday that he expects the omnibus appropriations package containing the nine remaining fiscal 2009 appropriations bills to be completed after Congress returns from the Presidents Day recess late this month.

That didn't take long.
