Who has been watching Glenn Beck?
« on: January 28, 2009, 09:30:36 PM »
I record it and me and my husband watch it every evening.  I love his format.  It's live and the first 20 minutes there are no commercials.

I'm sure you meant "my husband and I"....

When and where does it show?  I'll start recording it.  I've been trying to ignore politics (for the most part), but HGTV and Food Network are beginning to bore me.

I dont have TV myself anymore.

Now that I'm laid off, a 3pm (local time) broadcast is easier to catch.

He seems to be freer to chase the topics and folks he wants to cover, now that he's with Fox.  I guess living under the auspices of the Communist News Network for so long can get to be a little oppressive, kinda like what living under Dear Leader is getting to be like.

He was on CNN, and Fox snagged his ass. Too bad he comes on at 5PM. He needs to be on a prime time slot. Maybe replace O'Reilly's pompous ass.

While O'Reilley is a bit arrogant, I still like his show. I think that Beck should replace Greta. I never watch her show, unless I'm REALLY bored.

I must have missed your post about being laid off.

I am!  I am taping it since it is on at 4 here too.  I agree he needs to be in a prime time slot as well.  Hopefully as his show gains momentum he will get it.  I have to say that since he is on Fox it is much easier to catch him.  I couldn't ever catch him on that other channel.  lol

I have yet to find his show on the radio.  I am tempted to sign up for his podcasts since I can't ever get it.

Crap, I can't catch his show! And we don't have a way to record it. We live in the dark ages (by choice).

I do love Glenn though. He was really good on CNN.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

I watched part of his show today. Finally, someone in the national media is exposing the light on Los Zetas.
