Please refresh my memory....

How many Dems wanted the Bush Administration to fail?

What did Harry Reid say about the troops?

What did Jack Murtha say about the troops?

Which party called the President a "loser" in front of a group of school children?

Who tried to block every attempt President Bush made to improve the lives of Iraqis?

Which party has run the "dissent is patriotic" meme for the last 8 years?

None of that really happened.  It's just all propaganda created by the eeeeevil VRWC.  [/DUmp mode]

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Big babies.  I'm trying to recall.   How many petitions were there started by Republicans against Keith Olbermann?  Chris Matthews?  The idiots at CNN?  How about Air America?

That's right - zero.

How scary is it that these big crybabies are running this country?

:bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl:

It's scary. It's as if one half or so of America regressed, intellectually and emtionally, and overnight -- well, not really, but, gee, as the winners, they certainly are a bunch of whiners, aren't they? -- back to being one- or two-year-olds.

And Obama and his ilk, including the advocacy/adversary media, tout how "educated" and "intellectual" and "hip" and "savvy" he and his supporters and minions are?

Do they even know what those words mean? Better yet, if they don't, do they know what to do and where to go to find out?

There's a huge opening in this childish and stupid behavior they are giving to Republicans and conservatives here. But can the Rs and Cs capitalize, in public and in Congress?

Shouldn't the Rs and Cs being constantly nailing the Democrats, liberals and leftists for diverting their attention from the serious issues we face?

Typical of the opposition, though: Going for the capillaries when there are so many jugulars they could chose.

Now is the first real battle, with this obscene POS before us, the "Stimulus" package, written by Nancy Pelosi and trying to get shoved down our COLLECTIVE gullets in one day's time.  Here is a letter I wrote my worthless RINO congressman this morning:

I strongly oppose the "stimulus" package as put forth by the Democrats.  This is nothing but a pork barrel wishlist of liberal special interest groups.  It does nothing to create jobs.  Only 3% of the monies would go into the system in the next twelve months. Besides that, the programs targeted are dubious.  Global warming research?  a Hollywood bailout?  Carbon capture "demonstration" projects?  If this was your personal checkbook, would you spend money on such things?  What we need is drastically lower taxes.

What is the rush on this bill?  Why today?  Please don't be railroaded by the Democrats, listen to your constituents.  A lot of people are angry out here.

Thank you.

-end-

Is it the most sparkling letter?  No, I wrote it in 5 minutes.  Everybody here, please fire off a letter to your rep right now!  We do a great job sounding off on each other, take that same spirit and direct it to the congresscritters!

From his website.....

Quote from:
Rush Responds to Democrat E-mail Petition Against Him: "I am greatly puzzled. Why would the Democrats petition against me if I am doing such terrible damage to the GOP?"

Good question.

FYI, also at his site is a link to the DCCC site where you can respond to their petition.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Is there any way to ban this guy? Seriously, it's because to say "choke on a pork chop and die" is at best, hate speech. And, from where I come, good reason to slap someone upside the head or at least plant a size 11 up their backside, depending on how the person said it and in whose company.

Of course, this blogger needs prayer that such a dark, depraved, malicious spirit with such an excrement-filled heart can be saved from eternal real estate to which he shouldn't go, But that, like this filth he writes, will be determined by him.

Another reason to ban this guy: He's a tar baby and he takes up precious space and, surely the bane of every liberal, Democrat and leftist, his use of electronics and ours needs electricity to run and we all know what comes out of power plants and where that goes and what that does, right?

I've felt that way about him in the past, too, but decided its better he be here than out in public where he could molest people.  As daveman has pointed out several times, he has a pharmacy and he takes his work home with him.  BTW, he's the only "true conservative" on the board, just ask him and he'll tell you.  :whatever:

Look at it this way: He ain't worth shootin'.

You said Rush had helped elect a bunch of libs of both parties in the last 9 years.
Who are they and who were they running against?

You run your mouth, now back it up.

Your "first amendment" argument is a straw, idiot (nowhere did he actually support limiting of 1st Amendment rights). This is a privately owned website, and you are a guest here. Enough said.

My personal opinion is to not ban anybody ever except for: flooding the site with huge copy/paste jobs, or multiple posts that are obviously not a mistake, disruptions of that nature.  If someone has incomprehensible views, like Calhoun, let them show their true colors.  If an idea is indefensible, that will be painfully apparent as well.  What would we do without the douchbags?

Well, I got what I thought Calhoun's response would be, including his shot about "RED." Yep, I still live in a state whose voting majority did not fall over the cliff.

What separates CC, it appears, from things like the Puffington Host, for example, is that we will let people express themselves, no matter how they do that.

As for "What would we do without the douchbags?"? Well, we'd certainly have less mess to cleanup, wouldn't we?
