Me and Freeper passed through an area that had a tornado touch down. There was a straight line of trees for a hundred yards that had been knocked over.
There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site
I found a picture of Freeper. That's him on the left.

Sounds like a great time, with or without power, I come with batteries. Yeah you may have enjoyed Chris's snoring and Chris said Reb was sawing his own logs too. Me snore? Oh hell to the naw. I couldn't get asleep enough to do that. Damn, I needed a fan.Do you guys remember the damage on Hwy 3? Tornado ripped right through where we had driven. Debris was all over the road. As one area, acres of Loblolly Pines were broken off about 15 feet from the ground. It was a messed up night when the power went out. Sorry I didn't meet you, DAT. I figured you'd join up later.

You look great freeper! I still think it would be great if we had a CC get together in a blackout. That way I could grope around in the dark and have a ready excuse!

Thanks ACC and Chris said all the other ones ended at 11 everyone went back to the motel so this was the most interesting one so far. It will be hard to top a city wide blackout

Last time I recall that happening was at fort hood. We were quite drunk and my roomate was trying to light his cigarette off a hotplate after I called him a dumbass I found myself opening the refrigerator so the little light would come on so we could see.

Wouldn't the hotplate and fridge be supplied by the AC receptacle?
Like I said, there's nothing like having a power outage when you're drunk Be grateful it wasn't July in Savannah when the lights went out in Ga.
