Why do right-wingers continually say that liberals are "afraid" of Sarah Palin?
The only time I'm afraid of Sarah is when she's flying over me in a helicopter. I think they should run her in 2012 and every other chance they get. We'll beat her every time. She's a sad excuse for a candidate. (Note: that is scorn, not fear.)
Is this "liberals are terrified of Sarah" meme something Freepers tell each other as an excuse for why she keeps showing up on TV and won't just go away?
Are you afraid of Sarah?

After being asked this question, the primitives then follow with 142 replys (so far) explaining exactly why she is of no significance to them and why they are not afraid.
Of course, if someone or something is of no significance to me, or doesn't make me concerned and afraid, then I know I'd waste 142+ replys having to explain why.

Yes, the primitives are afraid, despite their insistence they aren't. In fact, I'd say their insistence they aren't afraid is futher evidence they really are and aren't willing to admit it. No one, not even kooks like them, spend that much effort to discuss something that doesn't strike fear into them when that person isn't even in the spotlight anymore.
One primitive said it best....

6. Look on this site for your answer. I've never seen so many threads about someone who "isn't" a threat. The low blows about her family, the constant jokes, all feeds into the "fear" thing. I've heard this a million times from the few right friends I have and when I say it isn't true they just laugh and point out how much she is the topic of conversation and say if it weren't true, we'd shut up about her. They've got a point.
Of course, that made sense, so WHOOOOOSH!!!! , right over their tiny little heads.
