I was thinking about getting another cat
I got two Vinnie he's around 10 yrs old,Sparkle he's around 9 yrs old.Still playful and silly as ever. I have always wanted a totally white short haired cat,the pink nose ,pink paw pads and faint pink through the ears get to me, they are adorable..I live in Maryland, anyone know where I could find one? Younger the better, and please not two blue eyes my other cats might not get along with the new cat if it's deaf..
I'm confused. A cat with two blue eyes is deaf?

2. If you have two, you might as well have three.
If the subway cat has two, she should give two away.
Based upon her past comments, the subway cat is no fit owner of cats.

6. think twice about a white cat
I have a white cat and she has skin cancer being she is all white. She's required 3 surgeries on lesions. Luckily no new ones for quite some time now.
She has one blue eye and one green eye, hence she is not deaf.
She will be 15 years old soon.
I think it is ok as long as the new white cat doesn't go outside.
Best of luck with whatever you decide and a Happy New Year to all of you!

7. Eye color and coat color really don't determine deafness it's just more common in all white cats with blue or bi-colored eyes, but just as many are hearing.
My tabby and white cat Jasper-who only lived outside because he freaked out indoors- had skin cancer on one of his white legs. He had two surgeries, then they removed the leg because neither surgery had an effect on the cancer. He was fine after that, but I recall the vet saying that all light colored dogs and cats-and any with light patches of fur-were more prone to skin cancer these days. Another good reason to keep them indoors!
Is the lying lorelei primitive pulling our leg, about this cancer bit in light-colored pets?
I'm just really nervous about the subway cat owning a cat.
She does weird deviant things with them.
I kid you not.
