I actually respect the man, particularly for his standing up for civil rights against adversity during the Nixon administration. Unfortunately, that's not necessarily an ideal attribute or qualification to be the head of the CIA.
I'm always hesitant and a bit aghast when non-career intelligence persons are appointed to that position. He has limited military experience, albeit it was apparently in the intelligence field. However his decades of political experience, including being Clintons Chief of Staff,
may offer some benefits. I don't know.
From a resume stand point, I'd consider him as qualified as Bush senior was. Possibly more so, arguably. I don't know. Prayers be with him and regardless... we should all buy ammo
