And that is why they will be complaining about losing all their worldly possessions in an economic downturn. Now, assuming this story was true (And that is a BIG assumption), a rational person would just humor the customer. It is easy to avoid pursuing such conversations without pissing off your customer. As long as they pay me, I don't care if they are racist, misogynist, misanthropic, or just plain stupid. I'll keep my opinions to myself, provide my services, and take their money. Apathy can be a useful tool when applied to the right situations.
