Oh no ACC, how far along is she?

She's just beyond 10 weeks.  I know its early, but after the first one, then the miracle that is Charlie (almost lost him too early on), and now this... it's even more painful. :(

She caught some sort of bug from another family member, which seems to be causing trouble for the baby.  We're hoping the doctors can do something like they did for Charlie.

I've had three miscarriages (each one a year apart) so I know how traumatizing it is.  Keep us updated on what is going on.  What did they do for Charlie?

I don't even remember. I wasn't at the hospital, so I never got all the details as to what they did, just that they saved Charlie.  I just know that my sis was already at the hospital for an ultrasound when the bleeding began and the doctors moved very quickly.

I've realized why I'm in a strangely good mood today.

I'm running AR statements and using my "Pay Up Bitches" stamp.  That always puts a smile to my face.   :-)

I just shoved a big semolina crust homemade Pizza into the oven. (Snausage, pepperoni, green peppers and tomatos)

I had fun with my missus earlier.  I sent her to the store and on the list I put "New England Half Rolled Upper Rib Roast (Deboned)" My daughter was in on the joke and stopped her from loading up the cart with one of everything that had part of the name in it. :-) She even encouraged Mom to find the butcher to ask about it.  :uhsure:

Kids are off school till Monday next.  We enjoyed a last day of kidless freedom here.  Went out and had a nice lunch together too.

I've been in a food coma since 11:30 this morning.  I ate at least one of everything, and then some.

I was really hungry about 10:15 and noticed someone had brought in soup.  Hey, this is awesome!  Stuffing-flavored soup!  So I filled up a styrofoam cup and enjoyed myself.  I didn't realize that was the gravy I was drinking.

I had to make a trip to the grocery store and it really wasn't too bad.  There were a lot of lines open and it wasn't too crowded.  As a consoling treat for going to the store, I bought a bottle of wine.   :cheersmate:

You keep those knees together and those feet on the floor, young lady.

There's no one here but the kitties.  :)  This wine is delicious.

Hmmmmm...maybe now is a good time for finishing off my 70-proof Kahlua and milk.

And I will NOT keep my knees together OR keep my feet on the floor, thanks very much.  Yard is currently looking somewhat like Lake Winnipesaukee, and the retaining wall between the backyard and driveway looks (expectedly) like a waterfall.  Such is what happens when you've had sub-freezing temperatures for over a week and the first day you get ABOVE freezing, you get 3 inches of rain.

At least the culvert is in good shape.  Didn't get washed away like it did a couple of years ago.  That wasn't a fun day.

Wouldn't help.  I live on a hillside.  At least it's near the top.  The downhill neighbors are screwed.

Too bad there's not an "Internet Sobriety Test".  I'd have to play the cop and put you in cuffs if you were too drunk to keyboard.

The scary thing is that I'm super honest when I get tipsy.  Seriously, like my good friend, Eric, knows that's when to get any secrets outta me.  LOL!

Of course it does!  It's cool whip, cottage cheese, can of crushed pineapple (drained), package of lime jello powder and mini marshmallows all mixed up together.  It's deliciously campy.  We just always called it "green stuff" and my mom made it every year for Thanksgiving.

I never knew what it was called, but I love that stuff.

My Great Aunt Martha made it alot. (RIP-Alzhimers)

My mom and/or my grandmother always made a green concoction with carrots and celery in it. Topped with with a whipped cream, sour cream & lemon juice mixture concoction. Sounds nasty but was pretty good.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

I minus the marshamallows and then add mixed fruit and walnuts to it. My brother affectionately calls it nuclear waste. Good luck getting anyone to eat it at a potluck though--they aren't quite sure what it is, but they are missing out--coolwhip, lime jello, crushed pineapple goodness.  :hyper:

Ooh, I'm saving that. I remember someone making this and didn't know the recipe, just that I love pistachio pudding/ice cream(I can't eat the nuts though--they hate me :p)
