Did you see those huge spikes in Cook and LA counties?  That is the intersting part of the 3d map
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." --Norman Thomas, 1944

I think I'm going to move to Oklahoma.  No blue there, and the gas prices are low.

Problem with Barr is that he's a political chamelon.  First a Dem, then a Republican, then a Libertarian.  Jesus, man--pick a party and STICK TO IT!

Frankly, the guy was a RINO at best and his affiliation with the ACLU, anti-war groups, etc., make him unelectable as dog catcher.  How Georgia put this guy in the House for as long as they did was a joke in and of itself.

Maybe he'll just go back to defending child molestors.

Well, just a quick Google and I already like what I see...

Now I know I'm new HERE but I am NOT new to politics, Palin is HOT, smokin' hot, but I am NOT convinced that she is presidential material, but neither is the one that's there, the one going there or his backup...

So, maybe she is MORE qualified than Bush, McCain, Obama AND Biden, but she is in serious need of some voice coaching, some Government and Civics classes and some world study, after that, you betcha, she and 1st Dude might be just the ticket, but IMO, as is, she is NOT ready...

Now, here's the other way of looking at it too, Steele isn't ready either, no one is going in, if you haven't been POTUS, there is NO WAY to be totally ready, you have to get your feet wet, it's just the massive consequences that you have to carefully weigh out, and with 2 or 3 more years of *seasoning*, Palin could well be the best thing to EVER happen, she IS Conservative, and did I mention?? She IS HOT!!

Palin brought more to the table than McLame did. I didn't see a whole hell of a lot of pre-Palin McLame signs up around town. Palin (yes, she was good looking, and maybe that attracted some voters) is staunchly pro-life, very good on the 2nd Amendment, has had a history of tearing down corruption (imagine what she'd be able to do in DC), she's actually governed a town and a state.

I imagine that she will not go quietly into the night. Now I do agree with you that she has to be "polished", so to speak, but I'm sure she'll be ready in 2012 while the libs will be ready in full attack mode to try to bring up Troopergate, Trig Palin, and the RNC wardrobe again.

Dictatorial BULL SHIT like that and people running off at the mouth telling everyone that IF you don't vote for McLame you're voting for Obama is the reason McLame lost anyway... That, and the simple fact that the old bastard was a RINO and a LOSER before he ever got the nomination...

He had the courage to stand by his convictions and cast a vote that he felt good about.  Even if he knew ahead of time that vote was for the losing horse.

How many of us here can say that about our vote for McCain?

Hitler ran on "change" and "hope."   Think his surviving supporters are proud of what they did to their country?  Lenin's wrested popular support away from the Bolsheveks -- think anyone was particularly pleased with that selection?

Anyone and everyone who voted for the fuhrer can go to hell.  Now.

It will be a LOT of work for those of us patriots who are left to stop the fuhrer.  But stop him we will -- he will find his every move blocked.  His insipid and false "extend the hand" crap will be met with my spittle.

Would you read any further?  Those words are the same as "I voted for Barr" which translates to "I voted for the fuhrer."

Blah blah blah.

Perhaps there should be a requirement that one has to be politically mature to vote.   When you vote for your warm-fuzzy-feel-good-has-no-chance-in-hell-of-winning candidate YOU VOTED FOR OBAMA.    You may not like to hear it, but it is what we adults like to refer to as reality.

We had to suffer through 8 years of Clinton because of the mindset you have embraced -- and yes, we heard the same whine from the Perot supporters.  Yet, they didn't learn a damn thing from it AND the RNC never changed (yeah yeah we heard the "clean house" charge then also).

So in closing, you voted for Obama.   He is your president.    You didn't learn anything from it and will most likely do it again, and that is what is wrong with the Republican party.

History is your friend. You either learn from it, or just go ahead and join lewrockwell.com (I hear they have the "good" brownies there....)

First off Fred didn't vote for Obama...he voted for Bob Barr....BIG difference.

And before you go referring to yourself as some Uber Patriot and thinking of TF as some kind of lesser being...He's a retired Military Officer who HAS put it on the line for this country just like I am doing now.

His son is hanging it out there for the rest of us too.

Think about that next time you start drawing up your list of who is and who is NOT a Patriot around here.
