McCain has him beat on the subject, but the media will be singing Barry's praises for the rest of the week.  Using oil to generate electricity is a poor idea.  We can eliminate money transfers to unfriendly countries by upgrading our electrical grid/generating capacity.

I think around 15% of our oil use goes toward electricity production.  Shaving 5% off of 49% of our oil use by mandating higher CAFE standards is barking up the wrong tree.
