For some weird reason my wife took care of the kids and let me sleep in today.

I have been stooging and procrastinating today.  The basement is getting into shape for the B-Day party crowd for the Mancub on Saturday.
Small crowd of kids expected and he picked a "Knights" theme so they will all be decked out in plastic armor swinging swords at each other. :-)

I am rereading LA Confidential by James Ellroy and it sucked me in pretty bad this morning, lol. Great novel and one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time.

I am actually in cold weather clothes today for the first time in a year. Not counting the mountains in Washington State this spring. Low 50's and cloudy. Fall is fell.

It's 7pm here so midday has been and gone for me.  :-) Not a bad day here, some more tomatoes have ripened so there is every chance they'll all be ripe by Christmas! Nearly the weekend w00t.

Hey, I was off a day earlier in the week so I thought it might have been me at first and looked on my puter an dphone to be sure :lmao: I hear you, bud! I'm 5 lectures into a 12 lecture series(and yes that equates to 12 full hours) :banghead: and this is unit 1--time is kinda running together at this point. Between us, we'll make sure the day threads are accurate since we damn sure aren't pulling it off on our own :-)

Ok, as for today. Found out between his dialysis, my brother will be coming up to visit in November sometime :cheersmate: :cheersmate: :cheersmate: We are planning to have Thanksgiving dinner whatever weekend he makes it up. I'm totally psyched! WOOHOO!!!!!11111!!!!

Other than that, back to the Norris LaGuardia act(help me!) :evillaugh:

It was chilly enough this morning I had to wear a light sweater over my tshirt.  :)

I had my first dealership exam this morning.  I think I did pretty well, I only had to pull the answer for one out of thin air.  Afterwards, the teacher said that there's an event on Oct. 15th.  Some Chinese automobile officials are coming into town and going to one of the big auto auctions.  China is just now getting ready for a used car business.  Anywho, he said that he's inviting a select few students to attend the event, and he asked me!  So I'm kind of excited.  I know where this auction is, but I've never been to it before. 

Plus, it's an excuse to miss my silly Wednesday afternoon "Intro to College Studies" class.   :whatever:  That class is so retarded I can't even tell you how fully retarded it is.

Anywho, I'm at work now.  Not much work to do really.  :)

I have spent half the day dealing with the report from hell....I  :censored: :censored: :censored: hate water "issues"!!!!!!! Unless it is a  :censored: broken pipe or backed up septic or something easily determined...it is almost impossible to know exactly what the cure is....and to then determine the estimated cost of repairs.

The other half I have spent trying to explain ....AGAIN....that just because a  :censored: bank loaned someone $40,000 on a property doesn't make it worth $40,000!!!!

Trying to explain American housing to someone in India ...FOR THE UMPTEENTH  :censored: TIME.....is a test to my patience and I just don't have enough happy pills to do it!!!!! :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl:

Other than that ...it's just a lovely day in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains... :-)

60 and windy today.  Under 40 tonight.  Time to kick on the heater and burn the last of last winter's leftover oil before I get to fill it up in November/December timeframe at $4.30 a gallon.

Man, is it a full moon or something? I've dealt with so many random problems and crazy people today.

I did see four deer in the parking lot at work. There is a wooded area next to our building and apparently a family of deer live back there. Very cool. Made the day not suck so bad to come out and see them.
