I am speaking about myself. I don't often jump in with facts or analysis, but I support and agree with most posters, and our liberal agenda.

I want to say thanks to all of you who put in the time and effort that made being on DU in the last 24 hours so satisfying. In one week I'll be 82, so these victories mean I'll live to see a brighter future for my grandchildren.

DU in general is not what I'd call politically savvy. They have a habit (like many people) of confusing what they want to be true with what is. Yes, they happen to have been right about this election, but for the most part, they were making the same prediction as always; Democrats will dominate.
