Ninth Circuit SLAPS DOWN Newsom law restricting ICE operations

https://www.theblaze.com/news/9th-circuit-id-newsom-ice

Quote
new California law requiring federal immigration agents to wear identification during their operations was permanently slapped down by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Critics of Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations say masked and unidentifiable agents pose a risk to illegal alien targets as well as the greater public.

On Wednesday, the three-judge panel of the appeals court said the state could not restrict federal operations without congressional approval.

"We conclude ... the No Vigilantes Act attempts to directly regulate the United States in its performance of governmental functions," Judge Mark J. Bennett wrote. "No set of circumstances exist under which the Act would be valid."

The ruling said the law violated the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution. The U.S. Department of Justice had sued to stop the identification law as well as another restriction barring federal agents from using masks during operations.

In April, the same court struck down a similar restriction issued by California.

CA gooberment being stupid, this ruling will likely be appealed to an en banc hearing and the USSC, because Sacto pols and bureaucrats are and won't be spending their own $$$$$$$.

Nolte: Nobody Watched Lena Dunham’s ‘Girls,’ So HBO Brings It Back

HBO is bringing back the ratings flop Girls for a five-episode seventh season.

One of my favorite pastimes is pointing out just how much the elites in the corporate media, most especially in the entertainment media, pretend something is a cultural phenomenon when no one watches it.
...
The Lena Dunham HBO show Girls, which ran for six seasons through 2017, was the Daily Show of left-wing feminism. No one watched the show…

The sixth season of Girls averaged a 0.28 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 638,000 viewers. Compared to season five, that’s up by 14% in the demo and up by 17% in viewership.

It didn’t even rank in the top ten shows on HBO in the 18-49 youth demo. In total ratings, its final season attracted fewer viewers than Vinyl, which was cancelled after one season.

But because Girls creator, co-star, and infamous rape hoaxer  Lena Dunham might be the biggest beneficiary of white privilege and left-wing affirmative action in history, this just happened…

:spork: Dunham has swelled to porcine proportions: :spork:

Parents Outraged After Daughters Cut from High School Volleyball Team While Trans Athlete Plays

https://www.breitbart.com/sports/2026/10/14/parents-outraged-after-daughters-cut-from-high-school-volleyball-team-while-trans-athlete-plays/

Quote
Parents in Colorado have risen in protest after the high school volleyball team their daughters play for cut several girls from the roster while a trans player gets ample playing time.

The parents, four to be exact, claim that eight girls from the Dakota Ridge High School team were cut and a trans player was allowed to play. The group is now demanding answers from Jefferson County Public Schools.

According to the parents, one of the girls was an outstanding player who had made the sophomore team as a freshman.

“My daughter played volleyball at Dakota Ridge High School in Colorado’s Jeffco Public Schools during her freshman and sophomore years,” a mother of one of the girls told Fox News Digital. “Being part of that team meant everything to her. This year, about 35 plus girls, including my daughter, didn’t make the team, while a transgender player did. She was crushed, and as her mother, I feel her opportunity was taken from her. This is why Title IX protections in sports are so important for our girls.”

Another parent says her daughter, a setter, worked tirelessly in the offseason and even transferred to Dakota Ridge with the express intent of playing volleyball there, only to be cut.
...
The school district confirmed receipt of a Title IX complaint and said it is investigating.

In March, the Department of Education Office for Civil Rights found that Jefferson County had violated Title IX by allowing boys to play in girls’ sports.

“OCR concluded that Jefferson County’s policies allowing access to intimate facilities and participation in sports based on ‘gender identity’ discriminates against females by denying them safety, dignity, and equal access to educational programs and activities,” the department said in a March press release. “OCR received athletic rosters from Jefferson County indicating that male students may occupy up to 61 roster positions on girls’ sports teams in the District.”

Hopefully thse parents find alternatives for their daughters and choose their colleges carefully (Hint, don't bother with California State University San Jose).

WATCH: High School Girls Walk Out of Track Meet in Protest of Trans Runner

https://www.breitbart.com/sports/2026/10/14/watch-high-school-girls-walk-out-of-track-meet-in-protest-trans-runner/

Quote
About a dozen high school girls calmly walked out of a cross-country race rather than compete with a transgender runner in Washington State on Tuesday.

The group of girls from the Camas High School cross-country team gathered together to mount a protest against their school for allowing a boy to switch from the boys’ cross-country team to the girls’ team right in the middle of the season.
...
Fox News added that the boy who quit the boys’ team and turned up among the girls ranked 76th in the boys’ JV race, but in his first girls’ race he won first place.

Dude dug to a new, lower, level of pathetic. He failed while competing with fellow boys, so he decided to pretend to be a girl. I get that it's fun to have a platform finish - I occasionally get age/sex group "wins", usually 3rd place, because no other men my age were in the event, which amuses me - but he gets jollies from stealing Crown Trophy Company track medals from girls? Just. Pathetic.
