A wealthy Republican now OWNS Dominion Voting and I hear nothing about this

potential screwing up the vote. What is the matter with the American public? Why is anyone owning voting equipment? Especially private entity? And you think there will be no hanky panky going on in the Republican Party? Just how stupid have the American public become? That is my opinion anyway especially when Trump says in the future you won't have to vote anymore....better wake up

The fuller story is that Dominion was purchased by the founder of KnowInk, a producer of an iPad-based check-in tool for poll workers to check in voters. The company has been around since 2011, with significant sales contracts since 2012. Their product was used in some areas/states during the 2016, 2020, and 2024, Presidential elections.

KnowInk has grown by purchasing companies with similar and related products (is it necessary to point out that growth-by-acquisition is far from being a new business growth strategy? Not here, but on DU ... ). In October 2025, the owner KnowInk purchased Dominion. There are multiple news stories about this purchase from that time, and it's on W'pedia. KnowInk's annual revenue is estimated at ~$20M per year.

Founder Scott Leiendecker has probably acquired some wealth from founding and growing KnowInk. Dominion Voting Systems's annual revenue is ~$24M per year, so, plus or minus some financial assistance - bank and/or venture capital - the acquisition is not as $$$$-y as DUpipo probably imagine. Prior to founding KnowInk, Leiendecker had worked for some years in the State of Missouri in elections organization and oversight. Between that and his years of creating and managing KnowInk, Leiendecker has decades of experience and track record in managing the nuts and bolts of polling place management.

All in all, DUpipo are chicken-littling, possibly or probably setting up a bogeyman to blame should their election outcome fantasies crash into a feared wall of reality.

If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.
