Who was this Dem "michaelandwicket" claims was assassinated? Melissa Hortman, who was murdered by a nutcase Goobernor Walz had appointed to his Workforce Development Board? Trying to mountainize that mole hill into morally equivalent to 3 or 4 Trump-Haters making assassination attempts doesn't work.

That non-equivalency aside, how many Rs claimed the murder/assassination of Hortman was a staged fake? How many Rs celebrated Hortman's death?

ETA: DU-folk are also guessing that the memester was referring to Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark.

IOW, the killer might have voted for Trump, but his motives were likely personal rather than political. Boelter was a bit of a misfit mountebank, a career-hopper who never settled on and succeeded in any.

More people on the left than on the right say they think political violence is justified.

People on the right are, by and large, not going around shooting people (or at people), burning buildings, and assaulting reporters.

If violence is so prevalent on the right, one assumes the SPLC and FBI wouldn't have to go around astroturfing it.

I don't know, but I remember when a thug died while high on drugs and not following the instructions of law enforcement. The left burned down neighborhoods, looted stores, and assaulted people.

They are always afraid of the right wing gun humpers but our side is not the ones doing the political violence. They protect trannies who seem to lead the pack in political violence on their side.

They like to say that the statistics show that the majority of political violence comes from the right, but I've yet to see any of them give a list of examples. They may name one or two random acts, but nothing that compares to what the left is constantly doing.

Some possible explanations:

1. I suspect the left is undercounted in crime statistics. We've all seen them firebomb stuff, but they probably do it in areas where they're less likely to get prosecuted for it.

2. The violence supposedly coming from the right is astroturfed by people like the SPLC. Then of course, you have the FBI entrapment in the Whitmer "kidnapping conspiracy", and I doubt that's the only time they've tried something like that.

3. While the left is guilty of certain violent acts, they're also kind of inept at it. They're much better at social engineering, such as trying to influence opinion (e.g. pretending to be a disillusioned right-winger), or intimidating without outright violence.
