A gentleman is a person who knows how to play the accordion, but choses not to.

Years ago, my dad, who played the guitar, brought one home. I don't know where he got it, but it only stayed few days before it was gone never to be seen (or heard from) again.
He bought an old piano once (which really pleased mama) because he was going to learn to play the piano. It basically became a shelf. He gave up on it because he could play it with his picking hand, but he could never get his chording hand to cooperate. From then on he stuck to stringed instruments with 12 strings or less.
