A Very Serious Question

Even though, on January 6th, Trump said, "I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard", he was blamed on the protest and accused of insurrection. When I listened to Kammie Kameleon's speech yesterday, I heard her tell everyone to "fight". Does that mean that she'll be blamed and accused of insurrection if any Dems decide to protest and destroy stuff? Or is this another case of different rules based upon political party?

There's a whole montage of Dems using violent rhetoric, but since we all understood it was just words, it went nowhere.  When a Republican uses words then they have different meanings.  Even when they aren't violent words.  They call them dog whistles, or secret code, or ...

It gets ridiculous and it's one of the reasons the media is to blame for most of this bullshit.

 :rotf: When I asked my wife that question yesterday while watching the speech, she gave me that look that she gives me alot and told me to stop acting like I'm stupid and don't know that answer.
