1. Not needing or choosing to lie, I have heard of this claim. A family friend of several decades who is a devotee of just about every conspiracy theory known to man or woman posted it on FB. Why FB's censor algorithm didn't hide it, I don't know. Can algorithms die laughing?
2. Still not lying, nope, have not heard this claim. I current contribute/frequent/infest three conservative/libertarian news and politics discussion sites and attend an Evangelical Church (many of whose members are probably - I don't actually know -more conservative or not) and have never heard anything even slightly similar to this. I won't say the claim is fiction, because I'm sure that there are anti-Semites among the crazies in some corner of the country, but this idea is nowhere near any mainstream I'm aware of.
