There is a post on the Greatest page, spreading harmful misinformation , with 53 recs.
The post claims the Smith report quotes Trump as saying “Make Them Riot!”, which is false; the report attributes the quote to someone other than Trump.
Numerous posters have pointed out the error and pleaded with the poster to edit or delete the post, to no avail.
If you were one of those who were duped by the misinformation and rec’d this post without reading the responses, take a minute to remove your rec so this misinformation falls off the greatest page.
Our DU community is harmed by the spread of misinformation- verifiable facts are crucial, especially in the lead up to election day.
EDIT: and now there is a second thread spreading the same misinformation.

They likely repeated it back and forth to each other as they held hands in gleeful anticipation of ****ing over America.
That's what I believe.

It was a misrepresentation (i.e. lie) taken out of one of Jack Smith's court filings by MSNBC. So yeah, the words "truth" and "court" are germane to the conversation. And he's off. More and more desperately trying to justify his attempt to spread a complete lie about Trump.

Those rants were after he was told that he was spreading a complete fabrication. And he continued, posting multiple responses in this thread (and a few others) insisting that no one was going to infringe on his right to lie about Trump. The whole thread is a hoot as he gets more and more unhinged in his arguments.
