More proof of divine intervention. 

The shooter somehow managed to "jam" an AK-47. 

That is a feat most would consider a miracle, not just an everyday miracle but one where we should be talking about submitting this to the Vatican miracle commission for verification!

 

Mikhail Kalashnikov is apoplectic, wherever his soul is today. The sonuvabitch has finally encountered somebody too stupid to operate his rifle design.

It turns out that the only shots fired were from the Secret Service and he never got the chance to fire because they encountered him while patrolling the area a few minutes before Trump even got into his line of sight. That doesn't take away from the seriousness of this, but this wasn't nearly the near miss as the first one was. What it does tell us is that the Secret Service was doing its job this time around.

They won't stop until they finally succeed at getting him. They are that unhinged. I heard on the news today that they wanted Trump to lower the rhetoric from his side. If anything He hasn't said nearly as much as his first run for office but then again, I could be wrong.  As it is they are the ones who for years have been calling trump every name in the book and invented more and they have forgotten the wrongs of their past political candidates.

That's my thoughts too, but I think they view it this way: if Trump didn't tell the truth on them, they wouldn't have to call him Hitler and a treat to democracy that must be stopped so it's Trump's fault.
