I would suspect that they're far more uncomfortable with how quietly We, the People are allowing it to happen. Even the Founding Fathers expected domestic enemies to rise up eventually. Where they fell short was in foreseeing the apathetic response from us.

I'm betting that there are more than a few of those vet's that are embarrassed to see Slow Joe there representing our country. The same person who just gave a huge pile of cash to Iran so they can fund terrorism and anything else their dark hearts want. Taking money from our enemies, blackmailing Ukraine into stopping an investigation into crimes his kids' bosses might have been involved in. I would dare say that those things are far more serious than the fake crime Trump was convicted of and will be overturned.
