Another one of my HEROES LOC.  When we lived in PLANO TX, a suburb of Dallas, got to attend (not as a student) one of his lectures at SMU, purchased a signed copy of his and his wife Rose's books,  forget the title at the moment, darn it ...  argh! 

Years later, when moving, and finally cutting down on all our collection of books, sold it, among others, to a book store owner/!collector who grabbed it up right away!  (Delighted-smile!)
