Oh my.

The solar bust primitive, the one who took an old yellow school bus and converted it to run on sun power.

Prediction Regarding Palin.

A major news entity will report something really juicy about Palin.

It will turn out to be false, or, it will be essentially correct but some important details in the reporting will be proven to be untrue or fabricated.

The story will attempt to demonstrate that the media is out to get Palin, once again prove the "liberal bias," protect/shield her from further attacks, and scare the media from criticizing her or investigating negative stories on her.

Similar to what they did with Dan Rather 4 years ago.

Orchestrated by Karl Rove.

It's coming soon.

The rumors about her affair could develop into it, or it might be something we haven't heard yet. But it's coming.

And if you thought the prediction was about her getting dumped from the ticket, that AIN'T happening.

Oh dear.

What did we do to Dan Rather four years ago?

Wasn't that Dan Rather doing it to Dan Rather four years ago?

The Republicans are already playing the victim card. 'Oh, the Democratic bloggers are soooo mean to me....'

For 60 days, they'll keep that drum beat. Everyone will forget the bad economy, the lost wars, McCain's Keating 5 shame, McCain's campaign lies.

3. The affair story is being chased by the National Enquirer

They are actually pretty good with that kind of story.

I don't think anyone sees them as part of some "Vast Left Wing Conspiracy".

Let's let them chase it. If it's true (and now there is every reason for the MSM to pay heed to what NE says about it), she's toast.

4. If They Have To "Win" On Pity, They Lose

The Rovian tactics worked best with a male, not female macho face. If she can weather the babygate thing, they're gonna stick with her. They have to. Walking this one back show the weakness that isn't in the Rovian deck. But the victim card is...and that's where the peril lies.

They can play it with a boooshie or even a Gramps...the media or the "angry left" (i know of many angry moderates as well) works with a macho...it's a fair fight. But as we saw with Hillary, when the women plays the victim card then questions come out if "she's got the stuff" to handle (sterotyping) and that infamous "b" word (my bets are Modo goes apeshit on her over the next two months...she's found a new Hillary). People see her whining a lot more than they do of a Gramps...and I see she doesn't have a polish to her style...little modulation on both her voice and emotions (a major contrast to Joe Biden...and his ultimate ace in the hole).

The one mess that could really hurt is if Senator NO!!! is convicted before the election...as we're seeing Alaska is a small Payton Place where VECO greased many palms. There's already an Abramoff connection and her heading his 527 and her getting millions in earmarks for her town will draw a lot of scrutiny.

And we still don't know how she'll handle the stump...are they gonna have to orchestrate her every word and move? That'll drain a lot out of that campaign. Finally, there's the egos. I can already see there's little chemistry between Gramps and Grandma. Both have big egos and that could spell some additional trouble...especially if the polls don't bounce the way Gramps hopes they will.

A big roll of the dice, but then desperate people do desperate things when they know they're in trouble.

Now that they've goaded the media, let them do the beating...we do the feeding. But the Obama campaign needs to ignore her...focus full guns on Gramps...that would frustrate this Rovian game.

think cheney's going to be on the cabinet?

Well, Richard Cheney was franksolich's first choice for the Republican presidential nomination, but since the retiring vice-president didn't want to run, I wouldn't mind if Richard Cheney were named U.S. Secretary of Defense in the incoming McCain administration.....and at the same time, director of the FBI, director of the CIA, director of the NSA, and commissioned as an officer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

I know Karl Rove justifiably enjoys the admiration of many here, and while I have nothing but nice things to say about Karl Rove, I always more favored Richard Cheney as the smartest man in the world.

Sometimes you feel like a nut
Sometimes you don't
DU got "nuts"
CC don't.

....and the DUmp claims Palin had an affair..... I say jealousy......rumor started just because she looks good enough to get propositioned. .....and the only proposition Hillary ever got was from Janet Reno.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

The smell of fear is still strong on the island.

I am inclined to agree on Cheney but we must never forget that KKKARL was willing to be out front and take punches.

Remove the "Orchestrated by Karl Rove" part and the DUmp monkey is 100% correct.

Why, did someone mention Sarah Palin's race? I haven't heard her playing the victim card. Seems to me she can give as good as she gets.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
