What have we become?

I watched the reports of Ukrainians, women, children, old, young, getting onto trains for Poland. Men with them as far as the border, then turning around to go back and fight.

Businesses, homes, lives abandoned. A lifetime gone in a day.

Imagine if you had to leave all you've worked for and built, with nothing but a couple of suitcases and whatever you could get out of an ATM.

Imagine 3/4ths of the city of Detroit, or Chicago, or Cleveland, or Little Rock just being abandoned in a day.

And what Americans seem to be most concerned about, is that they may pay 50 cents, or a dollar more for gas. Our heating bills may go up by as much as a candy bar a day.

Is 2 or 3 less Café Lattes a week really going to prevent us from helping our fellow freedman?

We have been asked to sacrifice nothing, because we've spent 40 years with Retrumplican ****sticks telling us that "sacrifice is a form of weakness".

Get your ass to the recruitment center chicken shit DUchebag.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

What have we become?

Everything that you claim the people you hate are.  Then again you never "became" that since you've always been that way since the creation of the DUmp.

Ukrainians are concerned about the safety and welfare of their families. This primitive correctly points that out.

Americans are also concerned about the safety and welfare of their families. Increased prices places the ability to provide for our families in danger. For some reason, this primitive finds that strange. As if just because someone in the world has it worse means that Americans shouldn’t notice and point out that their own lives are deteriorating.

What Ukraine being attacked and the American people having to pay increased prices via high inflation have in common is Cap’n Dementia’s weakness and incompetence. There aren’t enough threads on DU or any leftist pol site or MSM report to hide just how horrible Biden is.

Do DUpipo ever look at maps? Love it or hate it, Russia shares a long border with Ukraine, while the US is on the other side of the Atlantic, and major NATO nations are separated from Ukraine by several nations in between. Short of starting WW3, Brandon's realistic options were few, and he muffed every one, before Russia invaded.
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

Well at least he made the choice to go on vacation to Delaware again, hopefully there is less damage he can do from the basement.
