3. Totally agree.
If Trump is still "viable" politically, our ally and enemies (Putin, Xi, and Kim, etc) will never take US seriously again. And without US being a world power, I fear for our future (or the lack thereof of a future).
I am just dumbfounded as to how one US political party could side with Putin and that isn't a vote killer. It's really not the US I used to think of.

7. I kept saying when he lost the election
that he should be deported and DU-ers jumped all over me about who would have the right to deport him.
A jury of his peers would have the right. After all, juries in some places can send a person to death, which is far worse than being deported.
I never thought he should be allowed to stay here, spread his poison, undermine faith in our democracy and systems and I still don't think he should be allowed to. Its one thing if he were expressing opinions. But he is flat out lying and fomenting civil war.

We can hold anti fascist rallies across the country.
Protests in DC for DOJ action. Demand removal of SS protection for Trump. Protest RW hate media in front of their offices.
Raise funds to establish our own left wing networks of media to counteract the disinformation garbage spewed out to the public all day every day. I'd like to see the DNC support such media, but don't expect to see it. So do it ourselves. There are some well off lefties who could step forward to save democracy. Contact them.

Has turned a blind eye to EVERYTHING that corrupt and morally bankrupt administration did and continues to try and do. Elected the likes of MTG, Boebart, Hawley, Gosar, Brooks, Jordan etc.
As I have said all along, Trump, Green, McCarthy fill in Republican name here, they are problems, but not THE problem. Until we get average Joe American MAGA back from the abyss of insanity, ALL of this will continue. And most likely get worse.
THAT is the elephant in the room no one is really addressing. And at this point, the MAGAS are so dug in, so paranoid and brainwashed and unwilling to even listen to reason and sanity let alone budge even a fraction of an inch. I'm not so so sure there even CAN be a course correction at this point.
They were given a taste of power and allowed to run amok with it. They're not likely to just lay down and give it up.

The United States does not have a good tack record of dealing with powerful people who do bad things. We allowed literal traitors, who actively waged war on the Union, to escape without much or any consequences.
We have allowed at least 2 American presidents who have compromised US national security to win elections (Nixon and Reagan) to go without consequences. We allowed a 3rd president to go without consequences when his administration lied us into war in Iraq.
What should the US do to Trump?

Previous generations dealt with people like Hitler and Stalin now we can’t even deal with a 70+ yr old overweight bully who allowed a virus to spread that has now killed almost 1 million Americans and attempted a coup.
The resignations of the two prosecutors because the DA is fearful of applying the law is a sad state of affairs.
