Isn't "thoughtful" and "Obamaite" a contradiction in terms?

I'll have to buy a buuny ear antenna so I can get TV reception for the convention. I no longer have cable service. I'm going to watch the Barack Obama stadium speach at a local house party. It should be great! I'm really excited.

"House party" sounds like one of them halfway houses.

Perhaps the reason these people assume everyone else thinks like they do (aside from living in a sound proof basement) is that the second anyone disagrees with them they're automatically labeled a plant. It's almost like they can't conceive of ANYONE not marching in lock-step. They agree on every single issue from global warming to universal health care to gay marriage but disagree on who the party nominee should be and for that they become the equivalent of Snowball in Animal Farm. Might as well stick their fingers in their ears and sing "La, la, la! Not listening!"

You nailed it.  For being the "smartest people on the planet" they sure do get rattled by those who view things differently.  Smart people don't demand compliance, they demonstrate their way is the better way, and by doing so people automatically join in.  The idea of having to prove their points via logic and reasoning is foreign to the left.  They expect everyone to just see them the way they see themselves.
