I agree.  I work overnights and since it really isn't a problem for me, I just stay up all night even on my days off.  I was off Election day so I went to vote right at 0600 and was in bed by probably 0730 (about my normal time)... Woke up around 1600 like always.  Like you, I felt really good around 2300 that the Clinton machine had failed but I was wide a awake and I love this stuff.. so I watched election coverage till she conceded and listened to a few talking heads afterwards... Once I was bored listening to them cry, I fired up a movie (Captain America: Civil War.. no real relevance.. I'd been wanting to see it and had just gotten it a couple days prior) and life went on as normal.

I'm off Nov 6 again this year... so I'll probably stay up late watching election coverage again

Probably won't have as much of a Schadenboner if the Republicans hold on six days from now as I did in 2016 after the Trump victory.
