Sen. Feinstein breaks ankle, will skip convention

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., has broken her ankle and will skip next week's Democratic National Convention.

Feinstein, who was one of Hillary Rodham Clinton's top supporters, was to have chaired California's delegation to the convention in Denver.

Feinstein slipped and broke her ankle Friday while taking a walk on Meeks Bay Trail in the Lake Tahoe forest with Rep. Ellen Tauscher, D-Calif., the senator said in a statement Tuesday.

Initially Feinstein thought she'd just sprained her ankle, according to spokesman Scott Gerber. She attended the annual Lake Tahoe Summit on Saturday despite the accident.

You know, by my count, the primitives have blasted every single ultra-liberal radical extreme left-wing Democrat U.S. Senator currently in office, at least in one bonfire.

The only exception being Babs Boxer (D-California), who along with Patty Murray (D-Washington), is chronically listed as one of the two stupidest U.S. Senators in office.

Only Babs has been exempt from primitive Hate.

That, I can't understand, because Babs was one of the first Democrat senators to endorse Joseph Liebermann in the Democrat primary in Connecticut in 2006.  This was even before the primary, and usually party hacks try to remain neutral until after a primary.  But she did it before the primary.

How Babs escaped the primitive torches and pitchforks escapes me.
