J.K. Rowling Called Out For Lying About U.S. President Donald Trump Ignoring Disabled Child…

Yesterday a notorious political personality and author, J.K. Rowling, made the ridiculous claim that President Trump ignored a disabled boy during a speech to advocate for the repeal and replacement of ObamaCare.

Rowling’s claim is a demonstrable lie, yet she refuses to retract.  She is being called out by many in the U.K. and U.S.

I saw the Twitter comment chain on that a couple of days ago. Every 10th comment was someone pointing out it was false, with several people posting the more complete video showing the claim was false. As of yesterday AM she had neither deleted her Tweet nor acknowledged she was wrong.

Not impressed. Even were she utterly out of touch with technology in some isolated place, her publisher and folks should have been scrambling to find her.

I wonder if she's been taking lessons from Piers Morgan on how to be British and insert her foreign opinion in matters that don't concern her.

At least Morgan lived here while he brayed away his political views on any medium that would broadcast them.

Rowling is but another rich leftist who fervently believes in globalism. I gather that communist writer Jessica Mitford was a "heroine" of Rowling's. I will give her due props for her philanthropic efforts, uncharacteristic for most leftists.

Yep, I've noted that Morgan has actually stated some surprising opinions of late on various issues. Called out Meryl Streep, another worthless celebrity-activist, as a "crashing bore", IIRC.

Harry Potter Author J.K Rowling Apologizes For Falsely Accusing Trump Of Ignoring A Little Boy

    J.K. Rowling has apologized “unreservedly” after receiving criticism for mischaracterizing Donald Trump’s interaction with a disabled boy in a series of tweets last week.

    The “Harry Potter” author called Trump a “monster of narcissism” and claimed he deliberately ignored a young boy in a wheelchair as he met with “victims of Obamacare” ahead of a press conference on July 24.

    Rowling fired off the series of tweets after seeing an edited clip of the encounter but, had she watched the full clip, she would have seen the president greet the three-year-old boy named Monty.
