This is the reason I trust no one in my community.
Advertisements [?]This kind of double crossing, betrayals are a way of life where I live:
CNN's Jason Carroll has been looking into a recent report in Mother Jones that an activist who has played a prominent role in leading gun-control groups has been working all along as an undercover agent for the National Rifle Association.

On July 30, investigative journalists James Ridgeway, Daniel Schulman, and David Corn revealed that gun control activist Mary McFate was really Mary Lou Sapone, "a self-described 'research consultant,' who for decades has covertly infiltrated citizens groups for private security firms hired by corporations that are targeted by activist campaigns."

The journalists noted that "this discovery has caused the leaders of gun violence prevention organizations to conclude that for years they have been penetrated—at the highest levels—by the NRA or other pro-gun parties." Kristen Rand, legislative director of the Violence Policy Center, told them, "This is totally bizarre. ... She had access to all the legislative strategy for every major issue for years."

Bryan Miller, the executive director of of Ceasefire N.J., whose brother fell victim to gun violence in the 1990's, described Sapone's actions to CNN as "an underhanded, dishonest, venal trick on the part of the gun lobby." Miller had previously recalled for Mother Jones how he first spotted "McFate" as a street protester during an NRA convention in 1998 and then saw her rise to become a nationally-known figure.

5. doesn't surprise me
It would explain the absolutely idiotic and certain-to-fail tactics used so often by liberal organizations, were it true that they are thoroughly infiltrated and being subtly steered in self-defeating directions.

I would suggest that we look at ourselves and discover what makes us so excruciatingly vulnerable and so easily steered.

Early on at the bonfire, should be good though.

Can't be a drop in the bucket to how the president must feel when he sees top secret security matters printed in the New York Slimes.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

That would require libs to be able to think, which they can't.

Here's a hint for you though:  If you ponder this question long enough, no doubt you'll feel like you reached the right answer.
