IMO:
* Parent who can find a way to do it should send their children to private schools or homeschool; we did the latter, K-12;
* The PS system is so rotten with SJW bullies and educational malpractitioners who are protected by unions and educrats that it's irredeemable.
I don't have any solutions to the obvious facts that: 1. many parents cannot afford to homeschool or pay private school tuition (no-strings government-paid tuition to Christian parochial schools is when-pigs-fly unlikely); 2. there are not enough private schools "out there" to accommodate them if, magically, they could.
There are many good teachers and admins "out there". I know some. But the sad fact is that it takes just one year with a SJW bully and/or educational malpractitioner to screw up the education of an entire classroom full of children. And unless that SJW bully and/or educational malpractitioner does something so horrible as to be arrested, they'll screw up another classroom full of children the next year, and the next, and the next ... . Even a good school full of good teachers and admins is in constant risk of SJW bullies and educational malpractitioners being transferred in.
