Did you start and finish a whole quilt in one day?

No, I just "quilted" it.  First someone makes the quilt top (this one was someone else's quilt top), then you put all the layers together in a "quilt sandwich".  A quilt sandwich is the three layers of a quilt: the quilt top, the inner quilt batting and the backing.  On my machine you load the backing by pinning it to the fabric leaders, then you put the batting on and then the quilt top.  The quilting part is when I use my longarm to stitch the layers together.

Here is a picture of my longarm quilting machine:

If you already knew the above, disregard what I just said.   :p

I love that room, BEG. When I was scrapbooking regularly, I had my room organized in much the same way with all my tools in arm's reach. :cheersmate:

Look at this filthy car!  I wish I had better pictures, but this car only shows up at my neighborhood library every once in a while.  No identifiable stickers, so I have no clue what kind of person would own such a nasty car let alone drive one.

Just imagine the smell.   :o

As bad as those pictures are, it's so much worse in person.

On a related thread hijack,  have you seen that movie "Perfume" ?

No, I looked it up though just now. Is it worth a look? I see though from its story line why that post made you think of it.

Nyah!  I bought my new car a year ago and it is still spotless.
