Exactly what the Left is trying to do here.
(And some 'elitists' RINOS)

On November 16, ABC Net published comments of Australian Senator David Leyonhjelm warning the US to steer clear of Australian-style gun controls, which he said have turned Australia into a “nation of victims.”

Quote
Senator David Leyonhjelm has labelled Australia "a nation of victims" and discouraged the United States from following Australia's example on gun control.
The Liberal Democrat made the comments in an interview with the National Rifle Association of America (NRA) which was screened on YouTube.

Leyonhjelm said the 1996 gun controls instituted by PM John Howard have made “no difference” in the behavior of criminals. The only difference now is that armed criminals have the benefit of going against unarmed victims.

The U.S. is already headed into being a nation of self described victims.

I remember reading that crime rate went up in Australia because of gun control laws.
