He cut his roots a half century ago. Didn't ever go back. That's probably why he didn't feel much love.
Yet it's still puzzling, why the Commies in NYC, who voted in Commie DeBlasio as mayor, didn't go all in with Bern. Of course, all the college towns did.

Oh that's right, it's not puzzling at all. Better the Commie you know than the Commie you don't know.
True bouncy: I was at a rally for an R candidate before the primary. There were four Bernie protesters (vs. 5K+ attendees). They looked straight out of a DU picture thread. A fat wife, a husband who was 200 pounds lighter than her, with hair sticking up all over, a fat kid, and another ugly dude. They had signs with way too many words on it to read. The fat kid had a sign that said "this is a joke, right?" As we were getting in our cars to drive home, the woman plaintively cried "Vote Bernie!!!" I said, "no way, Commie."
