Liberals choose propaganda over truth

This is more sad than funny. At DU Jr, there is a News Forum. The liberals consistently quote blogs presenting outright lies as truth. They love to quote dubious sources as long as it supports their agenda, like militia members shooting each other in Oregon, ect.
~~Hence, in the spirit of news I made the following post.

Blogs are NOT legitimate news sources/They have NO accountability.

A blog can say anything, even lie without punishment. A blog dressed up as a news source can disguise opinion and outright propaganda as news.

Facebook is not a legitimate news source.
You tube videos are not legitimate news sources, anyone can make them.
Legit news may be on You Tube, i.e. NBC newscast clips but a VLOG can make itself look like the news too.

If you are going to post an opinion, fine use a blog.
If you are going to post a News story, use a legit news source.

that lied and sold the Iraq war of aggression etc. are very legit, sure. They just don't have any cred what so ever. Unless you are of the type "fool me once, fool me twice, fool me all the time, I have no shame".

This is why we saw DUmmies getting their news from Jon Stewart. If they don't like what they hear then its false. If a blog says what I want to hear then it is true.
This is also why lies and bribery are tolerated in their leaders...the agenda is being advanced, they don't care about any criminal behavior.

Bottom line: you cannot reason with a liberal (truth means nothing to them), you can only defeat a liberal.

Well-poisoning has become Progs' major cottage industry - rejecting anything reported on Fox out of hand, condemning liberal MSM sources as "right-wing" when they report things Progs don't want known.

So...... not to be an alarmist, but common core is all about teaching kids to write opinions.  It also stresses citing primary sources and secondary sources as evidence to support either your opinion, or more often, someone else's opinion (ie the teacher).  From what I've seen, the teacher provides the topic of research, and the sources.  A blog could = a secondary source.

The fact that these numbnuts consider a blog to be acceptable.........  someone needs to give these people a good shaking.....

     When a conservative presents a fact, and a liberal disagrees with the fact or does not like the fact, the liberal can't say that the conservative is wrong, because that would imply that
the liberal has solid evidence that the conservative is not presenting a fact, and the evidence is easily presented. Since liberals are stupid, and draw no distinction between opinion, emotion, and logic, they don't have the ability to refute a presentation of fact. Instead, they refer back to their premise that the conservative is 'lying.'

     It's been this way forever. When you add the latest innovation in liberal logic, viz., depth of emotion and/or color of skin are acceptable substitutes for logic and facts, it's no wonder that the stupid dickeating mother****ers are impossible to deal with, and will probably need to be rounded up and killed.

The variant I do occasionally on a forum that has a fair number of "Moderates"/Libs/Progs is to post a story from a source like Fox or a Pro-Life site, already having the same story from a MSM site in reserve. I let the resident "Moderate"/Lib/Prog denigrate the story as probably false or exaggerated, based on that source, and then drop the MSM version of the story that proves that the story is true and accurately represented into the thread. Even if the "Moderate"/Lib/Prog goes silent I can "hear" their spluttering frustration.

In general, they're great at destruction of what normal sane principled people consider good. Tradition? Oh, we can't have that, it must be destroyed. History? Oh, we can't have that, destroy it and rewrite it afterward. Statues, monuments, a flag they dislike, yadda yadda yadda. And so on...

Creation, on the other hand, isn't their strong suit, unless you consider creation of debt others are stuck paying. Outside of that, what do libs create? Nothing. Obozo said "you didn't build that", yet every road, every building, and every business those things played a part in supporting, was built by the private sector. And built with wealth that was produced by the private sector.
