There used to be some mutual funds, and other types of investments with a socially conscious investment strategy.
I don't think they ever did very well, because I have heard nothing from them in a great while.

I think that being a liberal means you have to have some serious feelings of inadequacy.  That's why they do stupid sh*t like this to make them feel important.  It's all about them.  They might support this store over that store because they think they're helping the world, but they're really just making themselves feel just a little less unimportant in this big, big world.......

If anyone has seen the show Portlandia, which is hilarious, that's who I imagined these people are.....

Teresa sold off her shares in Heinz Foods. However, Warren Buffett owns a large part of it now.  Then again, his company owns a chunk of everything, it seems.
