The only thing Bill Clinton did WRONG was lie to the wrong people...he should have stood up there and said,

2. The damage Bill Clinton did to this country is only now becoming apparent

NAFTA, the war on drugs, private prisons, welfare "reform", repeal of Glass Steagall, etc. etc.

The guy was a disaster and all the drama served as a deflection from the crap he was pulling.

You can holler about Bush all you want and he was a miserable excuse for a president.

But Clinton was damn near as bad.

     I think their hatred of Cosby has something to do with him wanting to hold black people's feet to the fire and hold them to account for their families and communities. I recall quite vividly howls of "UNCLE TOM!" when that phrase was still allowed on DU.

     Anyone who dares demand that black folk depend on themselves, and not the government, eventually has DU tire tracks on them.

Hmmmm ... well, I did have to Google Ruth Marcus. Beyond that, the WashPost page giving her bio and listing her recent articles reveals that Marcus is a standard-issue Lib/Prog. I guess she doesn't pass DU-folks' Party Line Uber Alles Progressivier-than-thou Progressive orthodoxy test. Her fault seems to be having occasional fits of honesty, kind of like petit mal seizures.

I have come to the conclusion that as long as you stay on the lib plantation you can do just about anything and it is OK. The media will give you a pass and so will the dummies.
