Drugs my brother had in him at the end.....


The doctors had him on some nasty crap.

Lorezepam and carisolprodol seem to be the worst. The withdrawal symptoms sounds like what he was dealing with.

Add some codine and ethanol to the mix and that was enough.

So...DUmmies, who EVERY OTHER DAY OF THE YEAR demand that prescription drugs be freely available, and free of charge, have a problem when someone takes them and abuses others.

Codeine and ethanol? Geez, DUmmy, sounds like he WANTED to die. And it sounds like the DUmmy is jealous of his dead brother's stash:

1. 2nd one you mention is aka SOMA...very tricky drug, shouldnt be used probably.

the other is Ativan, brand name.

Drugs is likely going to take my son, someday, heroin.

I live everyday with knowing this is likely to happen.

Drugs are a problem, RX and so on, but the real problem is how we as a society deal with the problem.

Decriminalize all drugs and build 10,000 new rehabs and methadone/suboxone clinics, for a start.

From what I have read, watched on TV, and seen in real life, once you get on the heroin, you never really get off until you are worm food.  The only question is how soon and how much pain happens before the addict finally dies.  I may be wrong. Odds are though I am not.

It does.  Unfortunately, druggies can cause a lot of problems for a lot of innocent people on their path to self-destruction.  Another reason to keep that shit illegal IMO.

Assuming they were prescribed and not street drugs, the OP's brother was using muscle relaxer and anti-seizure and -anxiety meds. Considered together, that means that either the doctor was a mini Dr. Mengele, or the brother was a really messed up guy that the doctor was trying to bring under control. Since the brother was also using codeine and alcohol (how'd he get the codeine, G_55? It's not OTC!), that latter seems infinitely more likely to me.

G_55's brother screwed up his life, and the tools he used to screw it up finally killed him. Blaming the doctor who tried to help bring the guy back from the walking dead is pathetic and perverse. G_55 cannot seem to bring him/herself to admit that the brother was a victim of his own choices; G_55 needs the "victimizer" to be other than the brother.

Keep in mind that there is a difference between something being logical and something having a logic to it based on an individual perspective.
DUmp monkeys are rarely logical but most of their idiocy has a sense of self indulging logic to it,in this case the almost universal desire to stone out of the society that in turn provides every facet of their living.

These "clinics" would in reality be a junkie pharmacy for free dope.
