The stupider the conspiracy theory, the longer its life. Popular Mechanics debunked this years ago. Which means, of course, that Popular Mechanics is part of the conspiracy.

I wonder how many plane crashes the DUmmies have seen? I haven't seen any first hand and the ones I've seen pictures of didn't involve plowing a jet-liner into a building at high speed.

They've seen lots, and they always leave an outline in the shape of a plane, wings included ... in Warner Brothers and Hanna-Barbera cartoons!

ComCam shot a ton of photos in and around the impact site. I've seen shots of landing gear and IIRC a portion of an engine cowling.

DUmmies seem to willfully forget how hot those fires burned and for how long.

They found people still sitting at their desks charred to bits.

They literally never knew what hit them.

Hey DUmmies...if the plane that hit the Pentagon wasn't really a plane but a missile...how the hell did Barbra Olsen make a call from that plane just before impact?

Government very commonly doesn't release photos of every detail of such incidents, for a variety of reasons ("Oh, look! There's Aunt Mildred's hand over there on the lawn!"). I'd love to see Conspiracy Theorists' "reasoning" applied to the Pearl Harbor attack:

* The Arizona blew up? Can't happen. The shells and powder are safely stored in a magazine! That picture was created in Hollywood!

* The Oklahoma capsized? All I see is some metal in some water. How do I know where the water is and that the metal's not a garbage scow?

* Torpedoes? Torpedoes won't work in shallow waters!

* 16" shells dropped by planes? Planes don't drop 16" naval rifle shells. I think there was a mutiny on the USS Maryland or USS West Virginia (they're both Southern states!) and they fired their 16" guns on the other battleships in Pearl Harbor!

* USS Lexington "just happened" to be at Midway, USS Saratoga "just happened" to be in San Diego, and USS Enterprise "just happened" to be out to sea returning from Wake? All three were out in Pearl while the battleships were all there? That's just too convenient to be a coincidence! Admiral Kimmel and Admiral Halsey were up to something!

I still think that if DUches want to really to save the environment,  they should find a way to use this highly refined stupidity to power the United States.  The only thing I'd be worried about,  is that a "stupid  bomb" could be developed from the research.
