It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Listening to one of the new Metalica songs on the radio. Good lord they've fallen so far from what they were.  :p

For extreme wierdness:

“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Critique of above video:
It should have ended with the scene where Mel Gibson comes riding up on horseback to rejoin them
carrying the American flag that he finished sewing after his son (Heath Ledger) died and he'd said he
was quiting. Also they could have found better muzak to put it to. That type of music is horrid to my
ear. But I do so love that movie.
