Beagles are 50% nose and 50% needing companionship and play. However, we've had 3 of them and they all were trained to go outside within 2 weeks. Beagles are headstrong and stubborn, but make great family members.
Absolutely. I rescued a Chow/Dachshund at 10 weeks. Appearance and build of a small Chow (think Jack Russell Terrier size, but more muscular) with the short fur and coloration of a Dachshund. Smart as a whip, a playful goof, loves kids, is headstrong and his nose is going
constantly. A good lookin' turd. Everybody wants to steal him off me.

When my wife and I rescued a couple of dogs, we thought we were getting nice, ordinary doggies, but we ended up with one beagle and a beagle/basset mix.
Oh, define ordinary you stupid f*ck.....
A beagle or beagle/basset will take you on a walk, which involves running back and forth to the end of the leash on both sides, sniffing the ground constantly the entire time. Attempting to train one of these four legged canines to heel or do anything other than sniff constantly for the odd squirrel or bunny is a complete waste of time.
Why don't the most smahtestest people on planet earf know this stuff? Beagles and Bassetts are
scent hounds you retarded door knob.
IT'S WHAT THEY DO.
Kinda like you sniffing around the Federal Building looking for free shit.
I feel sorry for the dogs.
