But he will get to the point, if he perseveres, where consistency - e.g. time of day, clothing, remembering to set aside his wallet, keys, cell phone, etc. - will matter.

Speaking of clothing, he may get to be on a first name basis where he buys his clothing, and his relationship with his banker may get strained.
