True, but neither was the black guy in NY. A police officer tried to arrest him for selling cigarettes on which the state/local taxes had not been paid, i.e. for dodging taxes. Had he gone along with the arrest, as he had done in the past, he would be alive today. Instead, he chose to resist arrest, and in the resisting-restraining his
knife-fork-and-spoon-control problem became deadly - due to his exertion, not being choked.
It's funny how omitting a "few" relevant facts can transmogrify the truth into a lie. Why do I suspect that "a few" relevant facts are, similarly, omitted from this statement, "... shot for missing a license plate"?
