Which war has actually been stopped rather than merely postponed?

That was a question I had, too, Sergeant Bunny. If anything, the protesters caused the Vietnam War to continue on. The reds were on the ropes from the bombing campaign. Uncle Ho was nervous he was about to be chucked under the capitulation bus, the VC were having a hard time conscripting.

Then the college campuses erupted. Ho Chi Minh and his cohorts saw a glimmer of light and were able to snatch their victory from the jaws of defeat. The presidential campaign of 1968 turned into somewhat of a referendum on the war. Next thing you knew, the heliocopters were evacuating the Saigon Embassy.
