32 indicted in massive Colorado marijuana trafficking investigation

Colorado officials have won indictments against 32 people accused of being part of a multimillion-dollar scheme to grow marijuana illegally in Colorado and ship it out of state.

Talk about having better things to do!!!!!

It's against the law, DUmbass.

Stupid certainly rules in the U.S.

A war against a plant that has never caused the death of a single person.

A war against a plant, that has too numerous to mention, medicinal purposes.

A war against a plant that can feed and clothe humanity.

A war against a plant that could greatly reduce the need for fossil fuels.

A war against a plant that could replace oil based plastics.

The damage the government of the U.S. has done to its citizens because of this miraculous plant in inexcusable.

If this is such a wonder plant why is it illegal?

5. Do you think these people are being indicted for drug trafficking or something else?

In the absence of any drug violations, these guys are guilty as hell of tax evasion.

Yeah... ya think?

7. That will continue to be an issue until re-scheduling.

No bank will touch a cannabis business. That, and only cost of product can be deducted as a business expense. Insurance companies that will insure operations are few and far between, and employees are paid in cash. Dispensaries have to make appointments with the IRS to pay their taxes, because they have to do it in cash.

Until the Federal Government releases the Federal regulations - it will be a cash and carry industry, legit or not.

That's because it's illegal!

6. Great post

Add in the prison complex, police unions and the alcohol industry and you have a pretty comprehensive listing of all of the industries that have a stake in keeping it illegal.

12. So, now could Colorado sue Minnesota for continuing prohibition thus causing crime in Colorado?

It is already a federal crime in Colorado, DUmbass. Add to it posession with intent to distribute (felony 3) for each time and the years in a federal prison rack up quick.

So all their talk at the DUmp over the years about making MJ legal so it can be taxed the hell out of was just a lie?

The thousands of drug cartel victims in Mexico and Central America would disagree with you (if they were alive).

Hundreds of mass graves have been discovered across Mexico, but the government isn’t keeping tabs.

The drug can cause cancer, lung disease and abnormalities associated with serious mental illness.

Users are up to six times more likely to develop schizophrenia.

The British Lung Foundation says smoking three joints a day can cause the same damage to the airways as a pack of 20 cigarettes.

The level of active ingredient in cannabis, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) has increased from around 0.5 per cent 20 years ago to almost five per cent today. THC affects the heart and blood vessels and many sudden deaths have been attributed to cannabis smoking.

Wait a minute, I was led to believe that this miracle drug that you smoke cured all those things they claim it causes.  I'm confused.

What would be the treatment for medical MJ caused cancer?  more medical MJ? :banghead:

I've never seen it claimed to cure cancer anywhere but at the DUmp. I think it may help people with post cancer treatment, though.

On the flip side, radiation has been shown to cause cancer, but we use radiation to treat cancer.

Might have killed Michael Brown, too.

Quote
Jurors have also been provided with the St. Louis County autopsy report, including toxicology test results for Brown that show he had levels of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the active ingredient in marijuana. The Post’s sources said the levels in Brown’s body may have been high enough to trigger hallucinations.

No! No! No! A racist cop killed that sweet innocent young man, who had a bright future in front of him.

He didn't even have time to make blunts out of those stolen Swisher Sweets before his innocent coconut got in the way of a .40 cal. bullet.

By now no doubt he'd be an honor student in college, probably majoring in chemical engineering or mathematics or cellular biology.

Remember, it's Missouri, where even Amber Hoyt claims to have earned a college degree.

That's a lot of discounting.
