Mine, S.C., is most polite......but I would consider moving to north Dakota. :naughty:

I thought S.C. was known as the "Halfback" state
As for my current state of residence..."The Natural State", every day we thank God for Mississippi.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Blueberries, the shore and the Pine Barrens. I don't care what North Jersey is famous for (use your imagination!)

and yes, Mount Misery (if you read the image link) is where I went for my 8th grade trip. It wasn't miserable!

Iowa, famous for...CORN.
But we are also the biggest producer of pork in the world.

Well at one time I lived near the hog capital of the world in Illinois, but the numbers must of changed.

Quote
On March 24, 1949, State Rep. Frank P. Johnson of Kewanee introduced House Resolution 40 on the floor of the 66th Illinois General Assembly declaring Kewanee and Henry County to be the “Hog Capital of the World” after being designated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as leading the nation in hog production. The resolution passed on a unanimous vote.

I grew up in Henry County & later moved to another community in the same county. Pork was big business there & guns...several well known gun manufacturers.

Looks like Nevada has the most hot springs.

I recently pointed out a hot spring oasis to a visitor when we were out driving around. I took him to see the less populated part of CA on our three state journey. We hit AZ, NV & CA.......

I couldn't swear to it, but I'd say there are probably fewer liberals in KS. St. Louis is choked with them, and Columbia - fuggedaboudit. It's a veritable libfest there all the time.  :p

I'll always consider myself to be a Missourian, but admit to really liking Kansas, very nice people there. Plus I like the more conservative nature of Kansas.

One thing I've learned since living in Florida, the Missouri/St Louis libs aren't quite as in your face as the East Coast transplants living in Florida. I've run into some really obnoxious ones here.

Sadly one thing Missouri is now famous for is Ferguson. What a crock. It's a tiny little burb that got caught up in the libtard's targeting. Guess you can call me a glutton for punishment (and cold weather) but we're returning to live part time in Missouri. Those grandkids are just too young, cute and sweet, couldn't resist. SR loves Florida, so we compromised with a half and half solution.

I've lived my entire life in a burb of Philadelphia.

When I joined the Marines, I had the opportunity to visit the entire East coast from Florida to Maine. In my opinion, the farther North I went the more rude people became.  :-)

On occasion if we can find something reasonable. Last summer we stayed in Sea Isle in a beach front condo. The owner normally charges $7,000 per week but we found it last minute and he gave us a break.

A top hotel in NYC charges that much for a suite per week.  :thatsright:

Oof! 7k! That's why I used to go to Cape Hatteras every summer (and sometimes Thanksgiving). $1200 tops for basically a mansion!
