My Parents Didn't Sacrifice For THIS SHIT... Yours ???

Everything from the 1% to Citizen's United to ALEC And The Koch Brothers

Mom, now 86, still has ration stamps from The Depression...

My old man, who fought in WWII in the South Pacific, and again in South Korea, died in 1975...

So I vote... EVERY TIME... but I would just like someone to vote FOR this time.

My parents didn't sacrifice for THIS SHIT.

Wow, your mom has been on the government dole since the 1930s.
Also, I highly doubt your dad was a veteran in two wars.
My dad was, and my dad also struggled through the Depression.  He hated Dummies like you more than anything, you parasitic piece of shit.

In fact... I believe quite the opposite.

7. This is today, and Citizens United is because of the SC. You want to ignore that, and just say my

Dad didn't fight for citizens United, was he thinking about that? You aren't the only one whose folks went through WWII or for that matter the depression.

Civil Rights probably were not on most people's minds who fought in WWII either, but the discrimination of African Americans in all phases of life around that period sure were not ideal, and if it wasn't for the SC a lot of things that we take for granted today would not be here.

Folks of that generation didn't concentrate on the Atomic bomb exposure in the Nevada desert also, or The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiments

They were focused on fighting a war, so unless they were affected they were not concerned with Civil Rights, or the Supreme Court.

As far as I can see we are not engaged in a world war right now, there is no draft, and if the make up of the SC didn't mean much to those who fought in WWII, it should mean something today, whether we are talking about voting rights, women's rights, or civil rights, but it is ok to ignore that many of the things that generation fought for are being disseminated by the SC, and yes , the SC does matter on the issues you say your folks fought for.

Another Dummy claims that his family fought in WWII.

15. Oh my gosh.

That was stated so beautifully. Thank you for that.

I wish I could recommend your post.

On Edit--------------My Dad, Korean War Vet and proud union member. He would tell me to vote for the Democrat. Every time.

Seriously, which percentage of veterans are liberal, 10 percent? 20-25 at most?  Yet they all found their way to Dummyland?

Soon enough, one of the Dummies will claim their father was on the Enola Gay.

8. I feel your pain, WillyT

I'm Baby Boomer, and I remember standing in the voting booth with my grandma as a little girl. An old school, hard core Democrat, she wanted to share the voting experience with me. I still remember as a little girl asking her who to vote for, and she would say "Why honey, straight Democrat, or course." She was the best and finest person I have ever met. I often wonder how she would feel about her party today.

Of course, your grandmom was a leech, and so are you.

10. Neither did our grandparents

My grandfather worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. He was lucky according to my grandmother because there were so many people that didn't have jobs...she didnt see him often because he was on "the rails"...she had 6 children to raise on her own and lived in the panhandle of Texas during the "Dust Bowl" days. She, my 5 aunts & my uncle picked cotton while grand-dad worked on the rr.

My mom died 3 years ago...she would be 91 now if she had lived...

the most important thing she told me before she died ( she lived a long life) was she had never seen "so much greed" in her lifetime.

I think she was right. Greed is what has killed us.

Great bouncy.  She was probably disappointed she raised a Dummy and died of a broken heart.

My mom , god bless her, passed away in 2008 at ninety. Her last vote was for Hillary Clinton in the 08 FL primary...She was legally blind and I had to help her with her ballot. Her first vote was for Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

My dad, god bless him, was awarded a Purple Heart for taking shrapnel in his right eye during the Italian Campaign in WW ll . He spent six months at Walter Reed Hospital and had several surgeries. They cosmetically saved the eye but couldn't save his sight. He died at the ripe old age of 58 of a massive heart attack in 1973. He hadn't had a physical in twenty years.

Thanks to the Affordable Care Act I get Medi Cal and hopefully will avoid his fate. Oh his last vote was for George McGovern.

I don't see anything incongruous about their votes.

She probably tried to vote Republican and you changed her vote, taken advantage of her blindness.

The DUmmies always rant about Citizens United, but they don't realize that the case also reaffirmed the rights of unions to make political donations.

I would be fine if corporations  and businesses were not allowed to donate.

As soon as unions and all other interest groups are blocked from donations.

There's an idea, let's do away with all campaign donations except from individuals, and then have no limits on those individuals.  :-)

If corporations should not contribute to the Body Politic, unions (all ones including the should-be illegal ones like the SEIU) should also be stopped.

Let's not forget that AFSCME and SEIU are the two largest unions that represent government employees.  That is a big reason that the unions targeted Scott Walker.

Four of the unions on that chart are government employee unions, and I'm sure that NEA and/or AFT members did their share in the two FAILED attempts to get Governor Scott Walker.

I forgot about them also being government unions,  and they have been hurt bad by teachers leaving and not paying dues.

I work at a company that is represented (on the employee side) by SEIU.
Membership and dues are mandatory.
I am going to do what I can if anything to change that.
What I would really like to do as an interim step is to get us pilots represented by a pilot union.
A union that understands pilots like ALPA.
What the hell does the "Office Professionals" union know about pilots ?
Nothing much is my contention.

Hey you f*cking DUmbass DUchebag, ration stamps were from WWII not the depression. If you are going to lie, do a modicum of research.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Yeah, just a little anachronism that should have tipped off the DU-folk that his story was at least partly a :bouncy: . Either they're similarly ignorant, or they just don't care about facts.
