Even here in central Illinois, county plows do parts of the interstates. Where is the federal government ? Why aren't they plowing their roads?

1. It is not socialism because those taxpayers pay for the event of snow and its need to be removed.
2. Wait until the real snow starts falling and see how well those expensive government services fail.
3. If the leftist fascists of the democrat party had had their way they would have sold all the snow removal equipment because in 2015 there was to be no snow fall.

If the interstate highways are federal roads, why is it that the "STATE HIGHWAY" trucks are out plowing them first before any others?

It's OK with me, those interstates are mostly transporting blue state DUmmies south to Florida.....sure as hell don't want them getting stranded in S.C..

So much stupid in one post.

A ) Plowing is done by local authorities, using locally collected taxes and revenues. Not federal.

B ) Many of those doing the plowing are local contractors, not government employees.

C ) Utility companies who fix the downed lines and whatnot are state regulated private companies, who get no tax revenue at all.

Sorry DUmbasses, I don't see the socialism here at all.
